About Us
The best interiors rarely feel brand new. House of Cascadia is shaped by Alisha’s lifelong connection to vintage and decades spent developing an eye for furniture with lasting presence. The goal has never been to chase trends or recognizable brand names, but to help people create homes that feel personal, layered, and genuinely their own.
Many of the Mid Century Modern dressers, credenzas, and cabinets we source are unmarked North American pieces. They’re selected because they stand on their own and continue to feel relevant decades after they were made.
Long before our passion for furniture restoration began, weekends and holidays were spent in antique shops, flea markets, and thrift stores across Canada and the United States. Over time, that early fascination evolved into a deeper appreciation for North American Mid Century Modern furniture.
People are often drawn to vintage furniture because of how it makes a space feel. Often, not knowing exactly what they’re looking for until they encounter a piece that simply feels right.
That instinct is at the heart of everything we do. We source, restore, and refinish North American Mid Century Modern credenzas, nightstands, and dressers chosen for their lasting relevance, practical function, and quiet visual presence within a home.
We believe vintage furniture should be ready to live with for years to come, and not like an ongoing project. Our restoration approach focuses on long-term durability and low-maintenance everyday use so the pieces can simply be enjoyed over time.
Furniture with presence. Furniture worth bringing home.
